Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students across multiple school locations in a vibrant educational community. This contract-based role begins July 27th, 2026, and continues through May 21st, 2027, with a consistent 37.5-hour weekly schedule—perfect for professionals seeking meaningful work during the academic year. Your expertise will make a difference as you engage with students, collaborating with educators and related service staff to nurture communication skills and promote academic success. This position emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and the chance to impact young learners in diverse settings.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Communication Science Disorders is required Experience supporting school-aged children in communication skills is highly valued Strong teamwork, adaptability, and organizational skills Ability to travel to multiple school locations as needed Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
Provide targeted support and interventions to students under supervision Assist with development and implementation of communication plans Document student progress and report outcomes to supervising clinicians and educational staff Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and ongoing professional development Maintain compliance with district and professional standards
