Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Bring your passion and expertise in speech-language assistance to a welcoming school environment! This contract opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) seeking a meaningful way to support students' communication growth in a collaborative, onsite setting. Working with students near Eagle, Idaho, you'll have the chance to make a real difference during the academic year, August through the end of the school year. With a commitment of just 6-12 hours each week, this role offers valuable experience while maintaining a flexible schedule—ideal for those balancing multiple commitments or seeking part-time engagement in the education field.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current SLPA license or certification in Idaho Prior experience or practicum in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach Ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs and fellow team members
Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of student communication intervention plans Support students individually and in small groups under the direction of a supervising SLP Monitor, document, and report student progress Prepare therapy materials and maintain organized records Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and families as needed Foster a positive and inclusive environment conducive to student growth
