Job Description

As a mom of a Autistic child I know how important therapies are, especially Speech therapy. My son regressed and lost his speech at 18 months until he regained it at 5yrs old through speech therapy and neurofeedback. Empowered Heroes is not just a therapy center, it is my purpose to help other families like mine. We are a team dedicated to providing children, teens and youngs adults another chance to regain their voice. In collaboration with other therapist, we're able to meet goals faster and keep the momentum going. Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Educate patients and their families about speech, and language. Collaborate with other Empowered Heroes team members, to provide comprehensive patient care Stay up-to-date on the latest research and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain licensure and enhance skills Document patient progress and outcomes in electronic medical records Comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing the practice of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university Current license to practice speech-language pathology in Illinois 1+ years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Fluency in Polish or Spanish a Plus!
Pay:
$40.00 - $65.00 per hour
