Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a vital educational setting where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can truly make a difference in students' lives. This full-time, onsite contract role begins in early August and extends through Thanksgiving break, positioning you as a key support for a resource caseload within a dedicated school community located near Columbus, IN. You'll work closely with other professionals to help students achieve their unique communication goals and IEP milestones.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing direct, onsite speech and language therapy services to students on the resource caseload Crafting and implementing individualized plans to address speech, language, and communication challenges Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with educational staff to align therapy with academic goals Collecting data and maintaining accurate documentation to monitor progress and compliance Effectively communicating with students' families to support carryover and promote generalization
Qualifications and Requirements:
Current and valid Indiana SLP license Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required Previous experience in a school-based setting working with similar populations strongly preferred Knowledgeable in current therapy modalities and best practices for school-aged children Collaborative, communicative, and adaptable attitude This posting is for a resource caseload only - separate SLPs handle self-contained groups As part of this contract, you'll be surrounded by dedicated colleagues who value collaboration and student success.
