Building Principal Qualifications:
Minimum educational requirement is a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders and a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent communication of education and experience
Responsibilities:
  • Assist Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in development of lesson plans to address IEP goals, and prepare materials, equipment and work area for therapy sessions.
  • Implement documented treatment/intervention plans developed by SLP. Accurately collect and record data, record students' status with regard to IEP objectives. Report student progress on IEP goals to supervising SLP.
  • Assist SLP in assessment of students.
  • Assist SLP in preparing and communicating information to parents and/or teachers in regard to student's progress.
  • Provide clerical support by preparing charts and data sheets, filing and scheduling.
  • Participate in IEP meetings with SLP and provide information to the team regarding current functioning and student progress towards goals.
  • Attend meetings and conferences and participate in other activities to promote professional growth.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Terms of Employment:
Less than 12 month following the teacher days on the school calendar up to 7.5 Hours per day/up to 37.5 per week Full Benefits Other conditions and stipulations as listed in the
Classified Staff Handbook Starting Hourly Rate Placement:
$36.18 An Additional $1 per hour will be paid from referendum funds
