Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with elementary and pre-k students for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. Ideal for professionals passionate about helping students reach their communication potential, this role involves providing direct speech-language pathology services within a supportive educational environment. Working with a manageable caseload of approximately 50-60 students, you will deliver speech therapy services both one-on-one and in group settings. The position is fully on-site, offering a hands-on, enriching experience supporting students' growth and development.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state SLP license School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred Familiarity with Medicaid billing procedures Experience writing and participating in IEPs Skilled in conducting assessments and implementing therapy plans Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide engaging SLP services to elementary and some pre-k students in accordance with IEPs Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments Develop, maintain, and update individualized therapy plans Document student progress and fulfill Medicaid billing requirements Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the student support team
