Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract An on-site Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in Dequincy, LA, offering both full- and part-time contract positions. This role supports students within a school setting, working alongside a highly supportive special education department committed to fostering student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering speech therapy services to students. Manage a caseload that allows for meaningful, focused intervention. Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support individualized education plans. Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
Active Louisiana state SLPA licensure required by the start date. Experience in school or pediatric settings is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff. Ability to work independently and as part of a team within the school environment.

Dequincy, Louisiana (on-site position).
