August 26, 2026Education/Certification:
Associates degree in speech-language pathology from a training program approved by a national certifying body OR Bachelors degree with a major in speech-language pathology, OR a bachelors degree and a certificate from a board approved speech language pathology assistant programQualifications:
Knowledge of special education process and regulationsBilingual preferredStrong ability to relate and work with the middle school studentsAbility to incorporate a variety of learning activities/ experiences to inspire, motivate and challenge middle school studentsKnowledge of habilitation, and rehabilitation of speech-language disorders and conditionsAbility to instruct and manage student behavior Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent technology skillsA self-reflective, active learner capable of interactive dialogue with all members of the school communityRespect for diversity
