Job Description
Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a contract basis. With an immediate start and the potential to extend through the extended school year (ESY), you'll collaborate with school teams to provide compensatory services and make a real difference in a child's educational journey. You will predominantly serve an elementary caseload, working onsite from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm with a 20-minute lunch break. The position involves traveling between two schools within a 15-minute drive of each other. Your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology, whether as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA, will contribute significantly to student progress and success.
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings Strong ability to manage elementary student caseloads Effective communication skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and students Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between sites as scheduledKey Responsibilities:
Deliver compensatory speech-language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs Conduct assessments, document progress, and develop targeted treatment plans Provide direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and families Participate in team meetings and maintain accurate records Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs Embrace a dynamic school environment where your commitment will help shape positive student outcomes.
