Salem Public Schools is looking for the following early childhood evaluation team members to work up to 25 hours over the course of the summer break. Members will be paid current contract rate:
Psychologist Speech Language Therapist Occupational Therapist Special Education Teacher Team Chair What You'll Do:
As a collaborative member of the Special Education team and in accordance with the policies and procedures of Salem Public Schools, the evaluation team will evaluate, present reports, make recommendations and participate in team meetings.
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of standardized and informal assessments as appropriate Use district software to create Individual Education Programs (IEPs). Develop IEPs and/or documented treatment plans Complete required paperwork and job-related functions in a timely manner and in compliance with special education regulations and district policies Gather, collate, and/or classify data; generate reports and present findings at meetings, as appropriate

Job Requirements:
Maintain valid DESE licensure Experience with delivering school-based services to school-aged students, PK-12 Possess effective written and oral communication skills Bilingual (Spanish) skills advantageous Current authorization to work in the United States required
