Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant supporting student success in a dynamic school environment near the Baltimore area, MD. This on-site role offers the chance to collaborate with educators and fellow clinicians to empower students' communication development during the 2026-2027 academic year.
Responsibilities include:
Providing small group and individual therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Supporting IEP goals through evidence-based interventions and documentation Collecting data, maintaining detailed records, and contributing to student progress evaluations Collaborating with teachers and staff to foster an inclusive, communicative learning environment Assisting with the preparation of materials and ongoing therapy plan adjustments To be considered, candidates should have: An active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in Maryland The ability to present valid licensure documentation upon request Experience working in school settings (preferred but not required) Willingness to complete district-specific credentialing, including background checks, fingerprinting, and employment history review in accordance with House Bill 486 Strong communication skills and a positive, adaptable mindset Enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday schedule during the school year, working 37.5 hours per week.
