Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in educational settings near California, MD by providing speech-language pathology services to students in a dynamic school environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to support communication and language development across two unique caseloads: one Early Intervention (11-month position) and one K-12 opening. The assignment runs from August 10th, 2026 through June 17th, 2027, with a full-time schedule that promotes work-life balance and professional growth.
Key Qualifications:
Active Maryland SLP License required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students on assigned caseloads Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes Deliver therapy services both individually and in group settings, adjusting approaches as needed Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and consultations to inform education plans
