Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for a contract role supporting elementary students in the Baltimore, MD area. The assignment spans two schools and serves students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. This role requires on-site presence and offers an opportunity to work with a diverse caseload in a supportive school environment.

Location:

Baltimore area, MD Magnolia Elementary (3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days per week: Monday, Wednesday)

Contract Duration:

February 16, 2026 May 29, 2026, with potential extension into Extended School Year services (4 weeks in July 2026)

Work Schedule:

37.5 hours per week, Monday through

Friday Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech-language pathology support and interventions to students in PreK through 5th grade Collaborate effectively with certified speech-language pathologists, teachers, and school staff to develop and implement therapy plans Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and district requirements Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational plans for students

Qualifications:

Active Maryland Professional Licensure as Speech Language Pathology Assistant Compliance with House Bill 486 requirements including district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred Ability to work on-site consistently at assigned schools Strong communication and organizational skills
