Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract To Hire Take your skills as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to an engaging school-based setting for the upcoming academic year. This contract-to-hire opportunity allows you to make a positive difference in students' communication abilities, working alongside dedicated professionals in a supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLPA licensure appropriate for the state Experience in school settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to assist in the implementation of IEPs under the direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Enthusiasm for supporting students from diverse backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under supervision Assist with screening, assessment, and documentation activities Prepare materials and adapt activities as directed for therapy sessions Report student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with team members Support the creation of a positive, inclusive learning environment
