Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract To Hire Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students as an SLPA in a dynamic school-based setting for the full academic year! This contract-to-hire position offers a rewarding environment where your dedication can make a lasting impact. The director is eager to connect with inspired professionals and will be conducting interviews the week of June 22nd.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active SLPA license or certification in accordance with state requirements Previous experience in a school setting preferred, working with diverse student populations Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, families, and supervising SLPs Passion for helping students achieve their communication goals and thrive academically Commitment to compliance with educational standards and ethical practices
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP Assist in developing and implementing therapy materials and lesson plans tailored to individual student needs Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting results Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to support students' academic and social success Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities as required Provide support during special education and parent meetings, as needed This is more than just a job—it's a chance to celebrate student successes each day and to grow alongside an experienced, supportive team.
