Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support a school setting in Presque Isle, ME, for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers approximately 4-5 hours per week, focusing on delivering specialized speech and language services to students.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in school-age children Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and student progress Participate in team meetings and assist with compliance requirements
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Experience working in school settings preferred Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques for pediatric populations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage workload efficiently within limited weekly hours
