Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract role supporting student communication and academic success in a school-based environment near Anoka, MN. This opportunity is ideal for passionate speech-language pathologists seeking to make a measurable difference in the lives of middle and high school students. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week and a caseload of approximately 55 students.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Background in pediatric, adolescent, or school-based speech-language therapy Comfortable providing services for middle or high school populations Strong collaborative skills for working with educators, parents, and other specialists Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities Experience with IEP development and progress monitoring preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEPs Work one-on-one and in group settings with students, adapting support as needed Collaborate closely with school staff and family members to promote student growth Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with all state and federal regulations Deliver direct therapy services on-site within the school setting Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding classroom communication strategies
