Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity where you can make a tangible impact supporting students' communication skills throughout the school year! This contract SLPA role caters to those passionate about fostering student growth and collaborating with dedicated educators. Join a welcoming environment split between Northdale Middle School (0.7 FTE) and Andover's elementary to high school levels, offering a unique chance to work across a diverse caseload.
Key Qualifications:
Active Minnesota SLPA license is required at the time of application (pending licenses are not accepted) Must have dual certification clearly documented; a PDF of your MN SLP license must be included Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy support Skilled communicator able to connect effectively with students, staff, and families Solid time management abilities and attention to detail
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language pathology assistant services on-site to students as directed by supervising SLPs Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals with fidelity Maintain accurate records and progress notes for assigned caseloads at both Northdale Middle School and Andover sites Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school teams to support student success Participate in staff meetings, IEP sessions, and professional development as needed
