Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of students by providing essential speech and language support in a school setting near Maple Grove, MN. This contract opportunity runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, working Monday through Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week. You'll support diverse caseloads across Northdale Middle School (0.7 FTE) and Andover Elementary School-High School, helping students thrive academically and socially. What we're seeking: Valid Minnesota SLPA license is required (pending licensure not accepted). Dual SLPA certification with clear documentation. Recent experience in school settings strongly preferred. Skillful in supporting SLPs with assessments, therapy implementation, and documentation. Flexible communication style and ability to collaborate with staff and families. Maintains accurate records and abides by ethical and legal standards within the school environment. Ability to travel between sites as needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting SLPs with providing direct and indirect services to students. Supporting IEP implementation and documenting student progress. Assisting with screenings, data collection, and therapy material preparation. Fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments in all assigned schools. Engaging in regular collaboration with the educational team to best support student outcomes. Communicating effectively with staff, parents, and students.
