Tri Lakes Special Services Cooperative provides educational support to 18-member districts in Southwest Missouri. We are growing and need dynamic team members willing to travel to various member districts. We have a competitive compensation package and a 4-day work week.Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. As an SLP or SLPA with us, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students with communication disorders.Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs and goals. Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to improve communication. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, educators, and other professionals, to ensure educational benefit and progress. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, IEPs, and progress notes.Qualifications:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP): Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Clinical experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred. Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA): Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field. State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Cinical experience working with communication disorders preferred.Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Knowledge of current research and best practices in speech-language pathology. Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans. Excellent organizational and time management skills.Benefits:
