Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students from preschool through 5th grade for the upcoming academic year. This full-time role is ideal for an SLP or SLPA eager to contribute to student growth and development, running from August 2026 through May 2027. You'll collaborate with a dedicated school-based team and deliver life-changing speech and language services to a diverse pediatric population. Candidates should bring experience or training in pediatric speech-language pathology, whether as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA with a passion for working in educational settings. This role offers valuable experience across a wide age range, making it a perfect fit for both seasoned professionals and those newer to the field.
Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure or eligibility as an SLP or SLPA. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or working toward completion of CFY (for SLPs). Experience or strong interest in working with preschool and elementary-aged children. Knowledge of IEP process, evaluation, and documentation standards in school environments. Collaborative team approach with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments and intervention for students preschool to 5th grade. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Work closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to foster student achievement. Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with school requirements. Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed. Support students' communication needs through engaging, evidence-based therapy.
