Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a positive impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school-based contract role. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and families while delivering high-quality therapy and services to children and adolescents.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Holds a valid SLPA license or certification in accordance with state requirements Experience with school-aged populations (preferred, but not required) Familiarity with IEP processes and educational documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt activities for a variety of student needs Reliable, organized, and professional
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP Implement treatment activities tailored to individual communication goals Collect data, monitor progress, and report on student performance Assist with screening and informal assessments as directed Participate in team meetings and support documentation needs Collaborate with educators and staff to create supportive learning environments Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district policies
