Job Description
Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time opportunity is available for Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) to provide essential support services across multiple school sites, including elementary, middle, and high schools. This contract position is based onsite in Fayetteville, NC, covering the school year from August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
Support speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy and intervention services to students. Assist with the implementation of individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to foster student progress. Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation. Adapt therapy sessions for diverse student needs across multiple grade levels. Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments.Qualifications:
Current active North Carolina license as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) is required. Experience working in school environments preferred. Ability to manage caseloads spanning elementary, middle, and high school settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to working onsite during full contract hours (Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week). Candidates open to travel assignments will be considered; however, this role requires onsite presence.Location:
Fayetteville, North Carolina, within multiple Cumberland County Schools.Work Schedule:
