30-35 hrs/week - for 2026-2027 School Year Flexible schedule About the Role Hi, SLPs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Forest City, NC . You'll support students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning. Communicates with students and other professionals to meet the emotional needs of students. Obtains case histories and completes observation checklists. Manages behavior using appropriately designed management techniques. Summarizes and records target behaviors during therapy sessions. What We're Looking For Passing score on a competency test approved by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists Registration as an assistant with the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists Strong communication and collaboration skills School-based experience preferred, not required About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
