Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract role as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) supporting students in a dynamic school setting. This onsite opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, to May 21, 2027, offering valuable experience and meaningful community impact. You'll collaborate with educational professionals to help students build essential communication skills, making a difference each day.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current and active North Carolina SLPA license required Prior experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists Reliable organization and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language services as directed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists Assist with assessments, treatment sessions, and individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate records of student progress and session activities Support the creation and adaptation of therapy materials Foster a positive and inclusive environment for student learning and participation
