School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Greensboro, North Carolina ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Greensboro, NC Job Details Full-time | Contract $32 - $44 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications SLPA License Bachelor's degree Data collection Full Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a school-based setting near Greensboro, NC. This assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through late May 2026, offering full-time hours (37.5 per week, 7.5 per day) in an engaging educational environment. You'll deliver on-site services, collaborate with professionals, and help foster communication development for students, with campus assignments and caseload details to be determined.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active registration with the state board as an SLPA is required Experience in school settings or pediatric populations strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team Strong organizational skills, able to manage direct and indirect therapy services
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language support services under the supervision of a licensed SLP Assist with implementing therapy plans for students as directed Collect data and maintain accurate session documentation Communicate progress and concerns with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families Contribute to a positive, student-focused learning environment This is a contract position on-site with a supportive educational team. Prescreen interviews may be required to assess suitability, with flexible daytime options to accommodate your schedule. Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive, with pay scaling based on direct school SLPA experience. Those with 0-2 years can anticipate rates from $32-35 per hour, 3-5 years from $35-38, 6-9 years from $38-41, and those with 10+ years can expect $41-44 per hour.
