Summary We seek an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist assistant to join our growing private practice. If you are looking for a great opportunity with a growing company to build a caseload that fits your personal and professional schedule, come grow with us! In this role, you will provide customized speech and language therapy sessions to a diverse pediatric client population, ages 1-18+. While most of your time will be dedicated to direct clinical work, you can also assist with light administrative tasks, including managing your schedule, treatment, and note-taking.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one speech and language therapy sessions addressing a wide range of communication disorders, including articulation, autism, auditory processing, augmentative communication, social skills, verbal apraxia, and receptive/expressive language Collaborate with parents/caregivers to ensure carryover of therapy techniques in the home environment while communicating progress Educate parents/caregivers on communication strategies and techniques Monitor patient progress and develop treatment plans based on evaluation results Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress notes and treatment outcomes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Registered with the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists 3-5+ years of experience working as a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail Compassionate professional seeking a company with a flexible, collaborative private practice setting Bonus points: Specializing in AAC, feeding, and/or Autism.
Pay:
$30-$42 per 30-minute session
Job Type:
Part-time Schedule/Work setting: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to utilize our office space for client sessions during their preferred hours of work. Hours are flexible, but candidates available between 2:00-6:00 PM will be given priority due to these appointment times being in high demand.
