Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make an impact as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant supporting students on-site at schools near Raleigh, NC. This contract position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 9, 2027, offering a rewarding, full-time opportunity within an educational setting. Interviews for this role will take place in mid-March, so interested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly for consideration. What we're looking for: Experience providing therapy and documenting services within a school environment Familiarity with Google Drive and MS Office for efficient documentation and communication Registered with the North Carolina speech board, or eligibility for full or temporary SLPA registration Commitment to delivering services on-site (no remote options available) Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team Dedication to supporting students across varied caseloads and age groups (caseload and precise school assignments to be determined after onboarding) Primary responsibilities: Deliver direct, school-based speech and language therapy under supervision of a licensed SLP Accurately document student progress and session details in alignment with school and state requirements Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support individual student goals Participate in team meetings and professional development as assigned Maintain compliance with confidentiality guidelines and state licensure standards You'll receive ongoing support, supervision as you transition into the role, and assistance with North Carolina Board of Examiners (NCBOE) registration following hire.
