Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a real impact as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic school setting! Work onsite as a key part of the educational team, supporting students' communication development for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to utilize your expertise in speech therapy, collaborate with dedicated professionals, and positively influence a diverse student population. Your background in providing speech-language support in school environments will set you up for success in this rewarding, hands-on role.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current, active North Carolina SLPA license required Previous experience working as an SLPA in a school setting highly preferred Strong communication and organization skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families Commitment to delivering exceptional support and services for students Proficiency with documentation and report writing
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language intervention under the supervision of an SLP Support implementation of IEP goals for assigned students Collect data and maintain accurate student records Assist with screenings and assessments as needed Foster a positive, supportive learning environment Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
