Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based environment as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant supporting students in their communication growth. This full-time contract opportunity encompasses the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning mid-August and concluding in late May. Key Qualifications:
Valid SLPA licensure (or eligibility) for Nebraska Prior experience in a school setting is a plus Solid understanding of direct and indirect speech-language therapy services Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) across the full assignment period
What You'll Do:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students under supervision of a licensed SLP Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals Provide indirect services, including documentation and collaboration with educational teams Maintain student records and progress tracking in compliance with school policies Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive environment
