Job Description
Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with communication needs in a dynamic educational setting near Merrimack, NH. This position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) passionate about making a meaningful difference while working collaboratively with dedicated educators and therapists. Enjoy a consistent workweek—25 hours over five weekdays—with the convenience of a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid SLPA license recognized by the state licensure board Experience or clinical practicum in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow direction from supervising SLP and collaborate with school staff Commitment to confidentiality and student wellbeingResponsibilities:
Deliver speech and language services as outlined in student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in planning and implementing therapy sessions Support students' progress through direct intervention, under the supervision of a licensed SLP Maintain accurate data collection and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Participate in team meetings and contribute to the positive school environment Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staffPerks and Schedule:
This contract begins on September 2, 2026, and continues through June 17, 2027. Work five hours daily from Monday through Friday, allowing you to maintain work-life harmony within a school-year schedule.
