Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in telespeech services and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a contract opportunity in Hobbs, NM. This role focuses on providing speech therapy services within a school setting, utilizing telepractice methods to support student communication and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy sessions via telehealth to students. Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments. Collaborate with educators and school staff to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports consistent with professional standards. Ensure compliance with school policies and relevant therapy regulations.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Proven experience providing telespeech services in educational settings. Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders. Effective communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and adapt therapy approaches to remote platforms.
