Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students near Henderson, NV, for the 2026-2027 school year! This flexible role, available as either full or part time, offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary, middle, and high school students while collaborating with dedicated educators and families. You'll deliver high-quality speech therapy services both in-person and through teletherapy, supporting students as they achieve their communication goals. Work within a supportive school environment and build lasting relationships with fellow professionals and the local community.
Ideal Background & Skills:
SLP license or eligibility (with CCC or CFY status) Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings is highly desired Comfort working with a range of student ages, especially elementary, plus some middle and high school cases Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and willingness to deliver remote services as needed SLPAs with a background in school or healthcare settings are welcome to apply Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement effective, individualized therapy plans Provide engaging intervention sessions, both face-to-face and via teletherapy Collaborate closely with teachers, parents/guardians, and multidisciplinary teams Document and track student progress in compliance with school and state requirements Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies Enjoy the benefits of a role tailored to your schedule and interests while empowering students to thrive.
