Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Explore a fulfilling opportunity supporting students' communication development in an engaging educational environment. This contract role is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist eager to empower K-12 learners, with a strong focus on K-8, for the 2026-2027 school year. You'll work closely with a committed team, making a meaningful impact in the lives of approximately 40 students—most in elementary and middle grades, along with a small high school caseload. The assignment is fully onsite, running from September 2, 2026, to June 25, 2027, with consistent hours: Monday through Friday, 7:40am-3:05pm.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current or anticipated ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY status Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings Familiarity with K-12 student needs, especially K-8 Strong collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork Comfort conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring Commitment to fostering a supportive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to a diverse student group, focusing on individualized needs Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Document progress and participate in IEP meetings Use creative, evidence-based strategies to enhance student engagement
