Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available supporting a fifth-grade student in Owasso, OK, requiring specialized speech-language pathology services for the remainder of the school year. This role focuses on providing teletherapy to a student with mobility challenges, offering tailored assistance including help with feeding and adaptive communication strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering one hour per week of speech-language pathology services via teletherapy. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans addressing the student's communication needs. Collaborating with educators and caregivers to support the student's progress. Monitoring and documenting therapeutic outcomes to inform ongoing interventions.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current CCC credentials. Experience working in school settings, particularly with pediatric populations. Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery. Familiarity with healthcare and pediatric speech therapy approaches. Ability to adapt services to meet the needs of students with physical impairments. This contract is ideal for SLPs seeking a focused, short-term engagement with limited hours concentrated on meaningful impact.
