Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students as a School-Based SLPA in a dynamic, onsite setting near Mount Vernon, OR. You'll serve multiple school locations in an itinerant capacity, collaborating closely with a remote supervising SLP. This role is designed for those who thrive on flexibility and value the chance to inspire student growth while gaining diverse educational experience.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification Demonstrated experience within a school-based or pediatric setting Familiarity with itinerant service delivery and managing a varied caseload Strong organizational and communication skills Comfort working onsite and traveling between campuses as needed Experience supporting remote SLP supervision is highly desirable
What You'll Do:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students across multiple schools Implement therapy plans under the guidance and supervision of a remote licensed SLP Support IEP documentation, progress monitoring, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Maintain communication with teachers, parents, and caregivers to optimize student outcomes Travel between assigned locations, meeting the needs of diverse learners Participate in virtual and in-person team meetings as required
