Adelphi seeks a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver school-based speech and language services in Prineville, Oregon. The SLP will collaborate with school administrators and staff to assess, plan, and provide evidence-based services that support student communication needs and comply with professional and district standards. $60/hour Minimum requirements MA or MS in Speech-Language Pathology Eligible for an Oregon Teaching License with Speech Impaired endorsement or for licensure by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred Experience providing itinerant services in public schools Preferred qualifications Current CPR training Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience and interest in working with children, including those with special needs Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, able to follow through with minimal supervision Well-developed organizational skills Key responsibilities Conduct screenings, diagnostic evaluations, and participate on multidisciplinary assessment teams Manage referrals and assigned caseloads in accordance with district policies and timelines Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs; document progress toward goals and update plans as needed Provide direct and indirect speech, language, and hearing services aligned with IEPs and student needs Plan individualized instruction that accounts for cultural, behavioral, motivational, and ability differences while maintaining high expectations Communicate and collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and community partners regarding student progress, services, and supports Maintain required documentation, records, and confidentiality; ensure legal and policy compliance Foster a positive, safe, and respectful learning environment that preserves student dignity and supports learning Contribute professionally through punctuality, appropriate conduct, collaboration, supervision of assistants/volunteers, in-service presentations, curriculum adherence, and ongoing professional development Perform other duties as assigned Adelphi values professionals who combine clinical expertise with strong communication and organizational skills to enhance student outcomes.
