Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support student services within a school setting. This contract position is based in Carlisle, PA, and offers the chance to contribute to student communication development and therapy goals within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing speech and language therapy plans Work directly with students under supervision to support communication skill development Document and track student progress according to therapy protocols Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student success Prepare materials and maintain a safe, organized therapy environment
Qualifications:
Certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant credential is required Experience working in schools preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow treatment plans and document progress accurately Reliable, professional, and adaptable to student needs
