Job Description:
Kidology, Inc. Myofunctional Therapist (Pediatric Setting) 1099 ContractorPosition OverviewKidology, Inc. is seeking a passionate and motivated Myofunctional Therapist to join our growing pediatric therapy team as an independent contractor (1099). This role focuses on supporting children with orofacial myofunctional disorders through specialized assessment and intervention, while collaborating within a multidisciplinary care model.

We welcome candidates with a background as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with appropriate myofunctional training and certification.

Full time possibilities for an
SLP Key Responsibilities & Focus AreasOrofacial Assessment:
Evaluate tongue posture, oral resting posture, breathing patterns, and swallowing function.
Therapeutic Exercises:
Develop and implement individualized neuromuscular re-education programs to improve tongue, lip, and jaw strength and coordination.
Speech & Feeding Support:
Address articulation challenges related to tongue thrust and support pediatric feeding development.
Collaboration:
Work closely with orthodontists, ENTs, dentists, and internal therapy providers to support airway health and comprehensive care.
Family Education:
Provide guidance and training to caregivers to support carryover of therapeutic strategies at home.
QualificationsEducation/Licensure:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (preferred), ORRegistered Dental Assistant (RDA) or related clinical background with relevant experience
Certification:
Certification in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (e.g., COM) or completion of a recognized training program strongly preferred
Skills:
Strong understanding of orofacial anatomy and airway healthExcellent communication and patient engagement skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
