Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an excellent opportunity to provide specialized services in a school setting with a middle school caseload. The role is based in the Northwest Philadelphia area with virtual interviews to facilitate a smooth hiring process. The position is contract-based and focused on supporting pediatric students through teletherapy and in-person services.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to middle school students, addressing a variety of communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Utilize teletherapy platforms to effectively provide remote services when needed Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and healthcare standards Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall educational goals for students
Qualifications:
Valid SLP certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Experience working with pediatric populations in schools and healthcare settings Proficiency in teletherapy delivery and related technologies Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and educational staff Ability to manage a middle school caseload with flexibility and professionalism
