Job Description
Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, supporting school-age students in a dynamic educational environment. In this contract role, you'll work onsite, collaborating closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver speech and language interventions tailored to each student's needs. Expect ongoing supervision and a nurturing team atmosphere where your contribution truly impacts young learners' communication development.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or a closely related field, or AAS degree from an approved SLPA program Valid SLPA certification and active state licensure Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to manage challenging situations with clarity and professionalism Flexibility to work across multiple school sites as needed Experience working with IEPs or providing direct/indirect services in schools is a plusPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect services aligned with individual students' IEPs, always under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Build positive relationships with staff, students, and families to support comprehensive care Maintain detailed records and help with documentation as necessary Participate in ongoing professional development and training Strictly provide services in-person (remote/virtual services are not an option for this role)Exceptional Benefits and Perks:
