Our growing pediatric speech-language pathology clinic is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. ABCDE Collective, LLC is a pediatric therapy practice specializing in AAC, comprehensive occupational therapy, and speech-language services. We specialize in providing evidence-based, child-centered speech and language services with a strong emphasis on AAC evaluation, implementation, and support for children with complex communication needs. Position Overview The SLPA will work under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to support therapy services for pediatric clients. This role includes direct therapy implementation, data collection, AAC support, family collaboration, and participation in a highly supportive, team-based environment. On-site supervision is provided by a knowledgeable and experienced clinician.
Schedule:
Part-time, flexible but in need of some after school hours 1-2 days/week
Location:
ABCDE Collective, LLC -- East Providence, RI Responsibilities Implement treatment plans developed by supervising SLPs Provide engaging, individualized therapy sessions for children with speech, language, social communication, and AAC needs Support AAC device programming, vocabulary organization, and carryover activities Collect and document therapy data accurately and efficiently Collaborate with supervising SLPs regarding client progress Communicate professionally with families and caregivers Prepare therapy materials Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities Qualifications Current SLPA license/certification in Rhode Island Experience working with pediatric populations preferred Interest in or experience with AAC highly preferred Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a clinical team Passion for neurodiversity-affirming, family-centered care What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Flexible part-time schedule Mentorship and support from experienced AAC-focused SLPs Opportunities for professional growth and AAC training Collaborative, positive workplace culture The chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families To apply, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to
