Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist working in a supportive school environment. This full-time, contract opportunity lets you help children unlock their communication potential, with an engaging school-based role for the 2024-2025 academic year. Onsite presence is preferred, providing the chance for meaningful, in-person collaboration and interaction. Interviews are being conducted now for an immediate start. Your expertise will be a valued asset, especially as the school currently benefits from voco SLP services and is seeking to strengthen onsite support. No SLPA supervision is required, allowing you to focus on direct therapy, assessment, and advocacy for your student caseload.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active CCC-SLP certification Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice in South Carolina schools Prior experience in school-based settings is highly valued Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Collaborative team player, dedicated to student-centered solutionsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members Maintain thorough and organized documentation in line with school and legal requirements Serve as a resource for staff on communication disorders and best practices Engage directly with students in an interactive, on-campus setting This role offers the satisfaction of making a daily difference in students' academic journeys within a vibrant school setting.
