BILINGUAL
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) (CFY highly encouraged or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)) to join our team in Tennessee. We are committed to providing culturally and linguistically sensitive care to our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with, but not limited to, bilingual individuals and their families, and will help us expand our services to children in the community. Private Practice Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing assessments for a diverse caseload, using both English and Spanish. (for SLP or CFY) Develop and implement culturally appropriate, individualized treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals. (for SLP or CFY) Provide direct therapy and interventions, leveraging your knowledge of bilingual language acquisition and transfer. Educate and counsel families and caregivers in their preferred language on how to support communication development at home. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and team members to coordinate and optimize patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, evaluations, and treatment records. Stay current with best practices in the field of bilingual speech-language pathology through continuing education. Qualifications For SLPA, Associate degree, SLPA certificate program, or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) For SLP, Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. For SLP, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Valid Tennessee state license in Speech-Language Pathology, temporary license for CFY required
PREFERRED
but not required: Native or near-native proficiency in spoken and written Spanish. Experience working with bilingual populations is preferred, but not warranted. Why Join Us? Make an
