Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving school-aged children in a dynamic educational environment near Cibolo, TX. Bring your passion for helping students thrive and your fluency in Spanish to make an immediate impact in the classroom and beyond. This is a contract, full-time opportunity at 37.5 hours per week, specifically suited for a strong Bilingual SLPA ready for the challenge of supporting diverse learners.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLPA licensure and credentials required Demonstrated fluency in both English and Spanish (Spanish proficiency will be evaluated during the interview process) Prior experience working in a school setting is strongly preferred Understanding of language development in culturally and linguistically diverse students Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages Strong collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Support individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress Implement therapy activities in Spanish and English as appropriate Collaborate with educators and therapists to adapt materials for bilingual learners Participate in meetings and contribute insights on language development Assist with screenings, assessments, and data collection This opportunity offers a chance to work in a rewarding educational setting where your bilingual abilities are highly valued.
