Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting student communication and learning in a school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) role. This full-time position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours each week, running from August 10 through May 28. You'll collaborate alongside dedicated professionals, contributing your SLPA skills in a vibrant educational setting.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and completed SLPA licensure requirements Previous experience or strong interest in school-based speech services Comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Bilingual skills welcome, but not required—open to monolingual SLPAs Readiness for a full-time (37.5 hours/week) commitment throughout the assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Implement direct and indirect speech-language interventions developed by a supervising SLP Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs Accurately document student progress and session notes Prepare therapeutic materials and maintain organized records as requested Engage positively and professionally with students, staff, and families Travel between assigned school sites as needed You'll receive full details about your assigned campuses during a personalized, in-person interview with site leaders. Interviews are available on June 4th at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, or 10:00 am for your convenience.
