Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year. This position requires 37.5 hours per week, from August 10 to May 28, supporting students across various sites. You'll collaborate closely with a passionate team, working in an engaging school environment to help students achieve their communication goals. The specific sites will be discussed during your in-person interview.
Qualifications & Experience:
Must hold valid SLPA licensure in Texas Previous experience in school settings preferred, but open to recent graduates Comfortable working with a diverse student population Monolingual applicants are welcome Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to follow directives of on-site
Speech-Language Pathologists Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP Assist in planning and implementing individualized treatment plans Collect and document student progress data Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers and staff Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities to fit student needs Support students in achieving their communication and social goals
