School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Corpus Christi, Texas Corpus Christi, TX Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications SLPA License Bachelor's degree Data collection Full Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support educational settings in Corpus Christi, TX. This contract position focuses on assisting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering high-quality speech and language services to students within schools. With multiple openings anticipated, this role is ideal for SLPAs looking to gain valuable experience in pediatric speech therapy within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support speech-language pathologists in implementing therapy plans for students with communication needs Assist with screening, assessments, and data collection to monitor student progress Provide direct therapy under supervision, adapting activities to meet individual student goals Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote speech and language development Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality guidelines
Qualifications:
