Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a full-time Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting K-12 students in a vibrant school environment. Key Qualifications:
Hold a valid SLPA license or credential Experience supporting speech-language services in school settings preferred Comfortable working with K-12 age groups Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and families Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students as prescribed in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Support assessments and treatment plan implementation under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Document student progress and maintain accurate records Assist with the development and preparation of therapy materials Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student goals Help promote positive, inclusive communication environments across the school
