Job Description
Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students during the 2025-2026 school year in Gonzales, TX. This contract position involves working closely with an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapeutic services and maintain accurate documentation for a full caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students across grades K-12 Collaborate with the onsite SLP to implement treatment plans and track student progress Complete detailed and timely documentation in compliance with school policies Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs and foster communication skills Participate in team meetings and contribute to goal-setting for student developmentDesired Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as an SLPA in a school setting Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently and effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school staff Familiarity with therapy documentation and educational best practices Commitment to supporting student growth and success in speech and language developmentLocation:
