Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic school setting near Harker Heights, TX. Qualifications and Requirements:
Active TX state SLPA license (must be verified by start date) Prior experience in a school environment as an SLPA is highly desirable Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to maintaining high standards for student support and progress documentation Flexibility to work with diverse student populations and engage in individualized or group therapy sessions
Responsibilities:
Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students Prepare therapy materials and adapt resources to meet student needs Conduct screening and support activities under supervision Maintain accurate records for student progress and compliance Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff to track and support student outcomes
